Kount+ is a dietary supplement for the treatment of male infertility. It is a food for special medicinal purposes. The ingredients in the unique proprietary blend of Kount+ have been scientifically demonstrated to enhance male fertility and improve overall reproductive wellness. With its highly concentrated and well balanced combination of carefully chosen ingredients, Kount+ can contribute in improving sperm parameters in cases of:
- Oligozoospermia (low sperm count)
- Asthenozoospermia (low sperm motility)
- Teratozoospermia (abnormal sperm morphology)
Kount+ contains carefully chosen combination of anti-oxidants, amino acids, provitamins and trace elements. The role of these ingredients in improving male fertility parameters have been demonstrated by many researchers in various scientific journals of international repute.
Coenzyme Q10 – It is present in most eukaryotic cells, primarily in the mitochondria and helps in the generation of energy in the form of ATP. It is of utmost importance in providing energy to sperm cells for mobility/motility.
Lycopene – lycopene improves sperm count and increases the number of normal sperm forms. It reduces the impact of AGE’s (advanced glycation endproducts) that are formed over a life time exposure of blood glucose.
Lycopene plays an important role in reducing the concentrations of reactive oxygen species.A rich coating of PUFA (poly unsaturated fatty acids) form the outer layer of sperm cells. Reactive oxygen species damages this outer layer by lipid peroxidation resulting in low sperm motility and abnormal sperm morphology. As a result, sperm’s ability to penetrate ovum is drastically reduced resulting in significant reduction in fertility.
L-Arginine – testicles needs arginine to produce spermine – a polyamine responsible to stabilize and preserve human DNA. It ensures motility of sperm cells and plays an important role in cell division. It also regulates the vascular tone to control the rate of blood flow.
N-acetyl cysteine – It is used to produce L-glutathione, which is the most powerful anti-oxidant as it acts intracellularly. This is particularly beneficial in smokers as N-acetyl cysteine helps in clearing the toxic heavy metals like cadmium that have got accumulated in testicles due to smoking.
Benfotiamine –Benfotiamine reduces the concentration of reactive oxygen species. It also prevents leydig cell dysfunction caused due to AGE’s (advanced glycation end products) and helps in sperm maturation process.
Selenium – Selenium is a trace element and it helps to reduce the concentration of reactive oxygen species. Selenium improves sperm count, motility and morphology.
Zinc – Zinc reduces the impact of cadmium toxicity in smokers. Moreover, it is also involved in more than 200 enzymatic processes. Zinc improves sperm density, viability and motility.
Piperine – Piperine reduces the levels of free radicals. It also lowers the cellular thiol levels.
Lycopene, Coenzyme Q10, L-arginine, N-acetyl cysteine, Benfotiamine, Selenium, Zinc, Piperine, Excipients.
How to use Kount+?
One pack of Kount+ contains 30 capsules that will last for one month. Take 1 capsule once a day with plenty of water, preferably before meals. We recommend taking Kount+ for a minimum of three months which is the duration of sperm maturation process.
